Society and Environment is changing with leaps and bounds. This will have a profound
impact on the role of universities in future. In a world where change is the norm, however, one
thing is certain - knowledge will be a key resource and will be highly sought after within India
and around the globe. The challenge - shared by all universities - is to help to generate the
intellectual property which will create new jobs, and to educate as well as train people to work
in fields where they will be valued both for their specialised knowledge, and for their ability to
research, communicate and solve problems.
We are rapidly striving to reach the zenith of academic brilliance with our team of
dedicated faculty members. Within a short span of last two years, the University has conducted
the first convocation, two international conferences with international collaboration as well as
first Faculty Development Programme (FDP) in collaboration with Guru Ghasidas Central
University, Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh). Our university has undergone seven national and one
international MOU within this time period. We aim to conduct a series of academic
programmes in near future and soar new heights in our combined academic journey.
I belong to Kashi (now Varanasi), the abode of Lord Siva and this University is located
in Ambikapur, the land of Maa Mahamaya. I sincerely believe that under the true blessings of
Almighty, we will surely succeed overcoming all obstacles. I wish all my faculties, non-
teaching staffs, students and their families astounding success! Together we can and we will
work for a better tomorrow!
